Supply Chain Analyst

Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Analyst will operate under general guidance to effectively address and resolve challenges related to the efficient flow of products within the distribution framework. This role involves collaborating with Planners and Senior Planners to enhance vendor confirmations for incoming supplies and aiding in the reconciliation of overdue purchase orders from suppliers.

Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing a comprehensive understanding of business operations and independent judgment to oversee the LO (lights out) replenishment transfers from S4 to WMS; identify discrepancies and assist in troubleshooting and resolving exceptions.
- Facilitating the creation of transactions as necessary to ensure the timely movement and receipt of products within the distribution network; exercising discretion regarding timing and location.
- Maintaining oversight of reporting on overdue purchase orders that are unscheduled; identifying trends and opportunities through data analysis.
- Monitoring EDI error reports; addressing issues directly when feasible and coordinating resolution with IT support when necessary.
- Comparing and assessing key transactions between iHerb's ERP system and the WMS, evaluating potential corrective actions for discrepancies and executing the most effective solutions.
- Tracking and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly departmental metrics, assisting the Senior Manager in compiling the weekly and monthly executive summaries, as well as contributing to operations-driven discussions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a data or business analyst capacity, particularly in defining process requirements, business requirements, and standard operating procedures related to planning and inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, interpret, and synthesize information to make informed decisions and share insights with team members.
- Familiarity with purchase order workflows, including EDI applications.
- Understanding of interfacility transfer workflows and the ability to troubleshoot exceptions effectively.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in ERP systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Intermediate Excel skills and robust analytical and data management capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage professionally with individuals at all organizational levels and external contacts.
- Detail-oriented team player with desired skills in Google G Suite.
- Experience with SAP and Tableau is advantageous.
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is generally required, preferably within an e-commerce setting.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree or certification in Information Technology, Mathematics, Business, or a related field is preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Judgment and Reasoning Skills:
The ability to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues using sound judgment and logical reasoning is essential. The candidate should be capable of determining when to escalate matters as necessary and should think proactively to minimize repetitive tasks, developing automation for redundant processes.
Physical Requirements:

Frequent sitting, hand and finger usage, bending, stooping, and reaching are necessary throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required for filing documents or storing materials.
Work Environment: The position is primarily remote for the foreseeable future, with a moderate noise level when in the office.

The anticipated salary range for this position is provided below; however, the applicable pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual circumstances.
The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience, industry background, and educational qualifications.

Successful candidates may receive Restricted Stock Units and annual bonuses based on eligibility and performance criteria defined in the relevant plan documents and policies.
