As a vital component of the supply chain, the Global Returns & Incidents Team collaborates with various AMEX teams to maintain operational excellence. This role emphasizes managing priorities, fostering communication, and providing clear direction for effective teamwork.
Your Contribution:
The ideal candidate will join the Global Returns and Incidents Team within AMEX's warehousing domain. The role requires curiosity, drive, impact focus, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Strong networking skills, process understanding, and the capacity to offer valuable insights are essential. This position presents opportunities for global travel, collaborating with leaders to identify process and compliance enhancements within AMEX's Global Supply Chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess operational processes and solutions crucial for business growth within the global returns and incidents business model.
- Conduct audits to pinpoint areas for improvement across various process paths and job functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans for enhanced success tracking and measurement.
- Review core processes and job functions, highlighting improvements while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Facilitate effective communication among teams to work towards shared objectives.
- Engage with front-line teams to understand current processes and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop stakeholder communication strategies to promote collaboration and process improvement.
- Encourage a positive and collaborative team spirit.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Retail.
- Degree in business studies or a related field; additional qualifications preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; familiarity with German is advantageous.
- Problem-solving ability with knowledge of job aids and instructions.
- Proven capability to overcome challenges and navigate obstacles.
- Organizational skills to simplify complex situations.
- Collaborative mindset with stakeholder management experience.
- Proficiency in process mapping and compliance measurement.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to new environments.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel globally.
Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $69,500 to $76,000 based on location, expertise, and experience. Benefits may include restricted stock units, along with medical and financial benefits.
