Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to lead our Clinical Nutrition team at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. As a Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nutrition services department, leading a team of dietitians, and driving performance improvement and quality management projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 12 inpatient dietitians and provide oversight to the outpatient clinical team.
- Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
- Oversee rollout of department programs and initiatives, as necessary.
- Be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital-wide committees.
- Serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed.
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- 6 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework.
- 5 years of experience as an experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
