About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex water resource projects, managing teams of engineers and scientists, and providing exceptional quality assurance and quality control on client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage teams of engineers and scientists while keeping within the scope, schedule, and budget constraints on large, complex, and impactful projects.
  • Technical Project Lead: Lead stormwater infrastructure design development, ensuring design disciplines work collaboratively, efficiently, and effectively and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Business Development: Capitalize on our substantial existing on-call contracts with several major clients in Texas to identify and target opportunities.
  • Manage Teams: Build and manage project teams and mentor mid-level and/or junior engineers and scientists.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's Preferred) in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Registered PE in Texas.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience conducting flood studies (concept through implementation) and analysis of stormwater/water resources projects for municipalities within Texas and nationwide.
  • Experience as Engineer of Record for the construction of stormwater/water resources projects.
  • Ability to lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers in the preparation of construction, drawings, details, specifications, calculations, and engineers estimate of probable construction costs.
  • Working knowledge of water quality regulations and the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program.
  • Direct experience working with MS4 jurisdictions in Texas, or the Southwest region preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
