Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapies Field Expert to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences Corp. This exciting role involves supporting clinical cases for new valve replacement therapies, working with innovative medical devices in the structural intervention space.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical or field experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work history. Additionally, they should be familiar with therapeutic implantable devices and interventional/surgical clinical care. A willingness to travel up to 75% is also required for this position. Compensation for this role is estimated at around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.

Responsibilities

* Educate physicians on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment required for device implants

* Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service education programs in the hospital environment

* Provide medical staff with clinical instructions to support the full continuum of patient care

* Identify therapy adoption opportunities in collaboration with sales reps and managers in local geographies

* Serve as the designated expert on Edwards products by sharing knowledge and training hospital staff

* Provide on-site, real-time guidance during clinical implants and proactively prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen occurrences

* Document procedural case observations for regulatory requirements and ongoing continuous improvement

Requirements

* Associate's Degree or relevant work experience

* A minimum of 5 years of related clinical or field experience required

* Experience with therapeutic implantable devices or interventional/surgical clinical care

* A willingness to travel up to 75%
