Job Summary

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong customer service focus and a proven ability to drive sales growth in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective residents, ensuring a positive experience throughout the leasing process.
  • Utilize professional sales and marketing techniques to maintain high occupancy levels at the apartment property.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure smooth move-ins for new residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date rental files, ensuring timely and efficient processing of lease agreements.
  • Assist in completion of monthly administrative tasks, including posting rent checks, sending late notices, and processing lease renewals.
  • Interact with residents in a professional manner to resolve maintenance issues, handle complaints, and ensure timely payment of rents.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve lease-up sales goals, with a strong drive to succeed in a sales-goal and commission-based environment.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills, with high professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of property management experience and/or customer service in a related field.
  • Desired lease-up experience.
  • Experience in 300+ unit properties is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Rent Cafe, and On-Site credit software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Solid business logic and ability to analyze and prioritize tasks assigned.
  • Follows instructions, performs duties with minimal supervision, and is a team player.
  • This position is required to work weekends.

Preferred:

· Bachelor or Associates Degree.

· Prior experience in residential or retail sales.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 10 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and open doors.

Communication:

  • Must be able to communicate (orally and written) in a professional manner on a regular basis with prospective residents, current residents, staff, management, and co-workers within the company as well as with outside vendors.

Attendance and Punctuality:

  • Is consistently at work and on time. Regularly required to work weekends.
