Labor Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Specialist to join our team at Exelon. In this role, you will advise management on collective bargaining agreement provisions, grievances, and discipline procedures. You will also assist the Labor Relations Manager with compliance risks and other key metrics reports. Additionally, you will support Labor Relations training sessions and focus groups related to employee relations and compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage grievance procedure issues, requests for information, and arbitration preparation.
  • Provide assistance to Human Resources and Line Managers on interpretation and administration of the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Develop labor strategies, assist with negotiating collective bargaining agreements with the union, and lead projects to identify risks and process gaps.
  • Plan and facilitate labor relations training, assist in the research of training needs, and updates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of relevant labor relations and/or HR experience.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in Excel and Data Analysis.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills; attention to detail.
