Medical Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with clinical duties, including preparing patients for exams and maintaining examination rooms and equipment.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in infection control and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program graduate preferred.
- 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in a physician practice or outpatient clinic setting.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association required.
- Current nationally accredited Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or Vermont State LNA License preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay range: $16.28 - $24.17 per hour.
