The Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide supportive bedside nursing care to patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to deliver high-quality patient care and support the operations of our unit(s).
Responsibilities:
Provide supportive bedside nursing care to patients, including assisting with daily living activities and promoting patient comfort and well-being.
Report patient care observations, deviations from patient plans of care, and other pertinent information to the registered nurse in a timely manner.
Assist with moving or lifting patients and equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
Demonstrate moderate knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills, utilizing this knowledge to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or Equivalent, or evidence of graduation within one year, required.
Previous hospital or nursing home LNA experience, preferred.
Current Vermont State License and BLS Certification through American Heart Association, required.
Unit-specific certifications as required, per specific department operational framework.
Pay Range: $18.16 - $26.97
