We are seeking a compassionate and professional Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Senior Lifestyle. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will provide essential support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting a sense of community and connection.
- Document daily logs of assistance and maintain accurate records.
- Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of residents, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Respond promptly to resident, family, and employee concerns, striving to provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience working in senior care.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- CNA or CHHA license may be required, depending on the state.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
- Independent decision-making skills and ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations.
