Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team at WinnCompanies. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of a 148-unit multifamily community in Sacramento, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leasing and Marketing: Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing, including touring with prospective residents, processing applications, recertifications, and negotiating lease renewals.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations.
- Financial Management: Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy, and initiate legal action when required.
- Administrative Support: Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager, resident correspondence, and recertification notices.
- Accounts Payable: Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service or leasing.
- Skills: Strong experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Superb attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree.
- Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Software Experience: Experience with Yardi, OneSite or RealPage property management software.
