Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Periodic Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pape Material Handling Inc. in Seattle, WA.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing periodic maintenance on all makes of forklifts, as well as performing minor repairs such as lights, belts, engine tune-ups, and hoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Conduct minor repairs and replacements of parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Inspect and test equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure seamless maintenance operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Requirements
  • 1 or more years of experience servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
  • Self-motivated and assertive attitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Must have own tools.
