Prior experience in supply chain management, material coordination, or logistics is preferred.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This position will be part of the Supply Chain Department and may require flexibility in shift assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Accountable for the performance of the department.
  • Understand and apply the Quality Policy of Baltimore Aircoil Company.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for the Receiving Team, focusing on cost reduction and process enhancements.
  • Handle receiving, put-away, and check-in operations for all purchased production materials across departments.
  • Conduct necessary incoming inspections.
  • Initiate and document any NCRs; manage NCR materials and report issues promptly.
  • Maintain an organized and designated NCR area.
  • Address any Red Tag materials immediately upon arrival.
  • Ensure all materials are stored correctly and dispose of unnecessary packaging.
  • Record all materials in PeopleSoft within the designated timeframe.
  • Keep material storage areas tidy and organized.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the scrap wood area and manage scrap wood disposition as required.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
  • Support the broader Supply Chain team as needed.
  • Assist other departments within Baltimore Aircoil Company based on business requirements.

The physical demands of this role are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential job functions. Working conditions involve a typical construction environment, along with standard hazards associated with manufacturing HVAC equipment and forklift operation.
