DV Family Advocate

The Salvation Army Northwest Division is seeking a compassionate and dedicated DV Family Advocate to join our team at Hickman House. As a key member of our Domestic Violence Program, you will provide critical support services to adult survivors of domestic violence and their children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement children's activities and programming, including art projects, games, and field trips.
- Conduct intake assessments and case management to meet children's needs, including clothing, medical care, and education.
- Provide information and referrals to parents concerning community resources and services.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and statistical data.
- Collaborate with program staff to share new information about community resources and provide guidance to volunteers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in social work or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children and families in a domestic violence setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
