Job Summary

Farmers Table is seeking a highly skilled and experienced baker to join our team as a Lead Baker. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality desserts and pastries for our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce the daily pastry selection for the restaurant
  • Weekly production of desserts for banquets and special events
  • Create specialty cakes for all occasions, excluding wedding cakes
  • Manage high-volume production in a professional and calm manner
  • Take responsibility for the final product and ensure it meets our high standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a high-volume bakery
  • Strong technical skill set and ability to follow exact recipes
  • Ability to produce consistent high-quality products on a daily basis
  • Knowledge of vegan baking is a plus, but not required
  • Passion for baking and creating beautiful desserts

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and complete daily production tasks. A weekly schedule will be discussed and agreed upon during the interview process.
