LAZ parking is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parking Enforcement Supervisor to oversee and lead parking enforcement operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of parking regulations and restrictions, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with special assignments and projects as requested.
  • Meet or exceed monthly citation quota for self and enforcement team.
  • Make daily work assignments, assigning staff to patrol specific routes or areas to enforce parking ordinances.
  • Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for special events.
  • Monitor field activities by making site visits to ensure proper enforcement of parking regulations and restrictions.
  • Transport Parking Enforcement officers to and from assigned patrol areas as required.
  • Train staff on the provisions of parking ordinances and procedures for writing and issuing fee notices for violations.
  • Review work activity reports and evaluate work performance of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluate the number of parking fee notices issued on various routes and make changes in work assignments to increase productivity.
  • Meet with subordinate staff to discuss and resolve problems relating to field activities.
  • Prepare productivity reports for management review.
  • Monitor on-street parking meters for vehicles in violation of parking ordinances by following an assigned route.
  • Maintain and care for all company-issued equipment and vehicles.
  • Uphold uniform and brand standards.
  • Promote and model safe driving techniques.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of outdoor work experience is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Security, military, or parking enforcement experience preferred.
Skills:
  • Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Must be open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view.
  • Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made.
Physical Demands:
  • Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time (no sitting allowed).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
