Job Title: Senior FP&A Specialist

Chubb is seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for the reporting segment, including revenue and expense projections.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders, including executive commentary and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, operations, and actuarial departments, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform accounting duties, including reconciliation and ledger entries, to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience in the reinsurance industry.
  • Strong command of reinsurance industry concepts, terminology, and financial metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.
Technical Competencies:
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft, including queries and reporting tools, to extract and analyze financial data effectively.
  • Knowledge of SQL for sub-ledger analysis, including creating queries for financial analysis, reconciliations, and data integrity validation.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
