Substantive Law Expert Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our Summit office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business/commercial litigation, construction litigation, personal injury law, and civil rights cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting complaints, briefs, and motions that effectively present our clients' cases.
  • Preparing and responding to discovery requests to ensure comprehensive case preparation.
  • Analyzing case documents to identify key evidence and build strong arguments.
  • Taking and defending depositions to gather critical information and establish credibility.
  • Collaborating with colleagues on case strategy and preparing for trial to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Managing assigned cases from inception to resolution, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on business/commercial litigation, construction litigation, personal injury law, and civil rights cases.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft compelling briefs and motions.
  • Experience drafting and responding to discovery requests, as well as reviewing and analyzing case documents.
  • Ability to handle all aspects of depositions, including taking and defending.
  • Familiarity with business/commercial litigation, construction litigation, personal injury law, and civil rights cases.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in complex legal matters.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a bonus.
