The GeorgiaGov is seeking a highly qualified applicant for its Program Coordinator (Clean Energy Grant) position in the Industrial & Transportation Technology department of the Academic and Student Affairs division. This role is responsible for coordinating the Clean Energy grant program and services through various resources and platforms.

Under the general supervision of the Dean of the Industrial & Transportation Technology department, the Program Coordinator (Clean Energy Grant) will be responsible for:

  • Working with the grant's primary investigator to ensure all grant-related activities align with funding objectives.
  • Coordinating lab renovations and contractor payments with facilities.
  • Ensuring timely completion of deliverables with designated grant partners.
  • Assisting with data collection and reporting.
  • Delivering written and oral reports relating to the grant.
  • Scheduling instructors' training sessions, teaching schedules, and grant-related stipends.
  • Researching clean energy training opportunities for instructors and grant personnel to attend.
  • Attending clean energy conferences and workshops.
  • Scheduling grant-related workflow to ensure activities remain on task and objectives are met in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as polished oral and written communication skills.
  • A high level of proficiency in computer skills, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • The ability to work in a team-focused environment.
  • A fast learner with the desire to successfully execute and improve program goals.

The minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of directly related work experience. Preference may be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher and three or more years of directly related work experience, as well as experience in project management, grants management, business administration, or technology management.
