JOB SUMMARY
This position entails providing direct patient support, assisting with unit activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of healthcare operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exhibit proficiency in delivering patient care
- Effectively manage multiple patient assignments
- Respond swiftly to patient needs
- Perform emergency interventions such as CPR when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medical records
- Engage in various patient care tasks and supportive procedures
- Assist with patient repositioning and monitoring
- Administer basic medical treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Support clinical staff in patient care activities
- Facilitate patient transport within the healthcare facility
- Serve as a patient sitter or telemetry monitor technician as required
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: High School diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Florida
- Registered Nursing (RN) student or graduate
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with Florida licensure
- Basic computer skills for data entry and document management
