Job Title: Physician Contact Center Representative

At Hospital for Special Surgery, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Contact Center Representative to join our team. As a key member of our HSSConnect team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary:

The Physician Contact Center Representative will be responsible for triaging, counseling, scheduling, and referring patients to HSS physicians utilizing an automated referral system. You will maintain knowledge of all HSS physicians in each service line and offsite location, connect patients to appropriate MD offices based on their condition, insurance, location, availability, and patient preferences.

Responsibilities:
  • Triage and counsel patients to determine the best course of action for their medical needs.
  • Schedule and refer patients to HSS physicians utilizing an automated referral system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of HSS physicians, services, and locations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document and close all cases via Salesforce.
  • Stay up-to-date on HSS research and marketing programs.
Requirements:
  • Customer service experience a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize in the ever-changing environment of healthcare.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Respect for information confidentiality.
  • Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
Education Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
Pay Range:

USD $30.21/Hr. - USD $32.48/Hr.
