Job Summary
The U.S. Department of the Interior is seeking a highly skilled Production Accountability Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of oil and gas production data and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit oil and gas leases to ensure production accountability and accuracy of data.
- Apply federal regulations governing mineral development and production to ensure compliance.
- Review and analyze information from various sources to verify the accuracy of oil and gas operations reports.
- Calculate oil and gas volumes that are misreported or recoverable and provide figures for further action.
- Verify and account for production volumes produced and removed from oil and gas leases, and ensure identified production issues are resolved.
- Conduct production accountability reviews on oil and gas leases and other assignments.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
