Environmental Health and Safety Manager
We are looking for a qualified Environmental Health and Safety Manager to oversee our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring adherence to all relevant environmental, health, and safety standards to foster a secure and eco-friendly workplace.


Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ISO 14001 certification process and maintain compliance
- Evaluate data to pinpoint and prioritize enhancements in plant EHS Key Performance Indicators
- Generate all necessary internal and external environmental documentation (e.g., Tier II, form R, bi-annual waste, emission inventory, etc.)
- Design and execute safety initiatives and policies aimed at accident and injury prevention
- Perform routine inspections and audits to detect and mitigate potential risks
- Educate staff on the safe handling of hazardous substances and emergency protocols
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to all environmental health and safety legislation

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related discipline
- Familiarity with ERP systems for environmental health and safety management
- Experience with ISO 14001 certification is preferred
- Understanding of hazardous materials and their safe handling
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
