About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist. This is a full-time position working on 3rd shift, 3 days per week.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound procedures accurately and efficiently. They will also maintain records in accordance with various regulatory agencies and document billing codes of procedures performed.

Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform high-quality images
  • Position patients and select proper transducers for accurate procedures
  • Review patient medical records to obtain necessary clinical information
  • Analyze sonograms and communicate findings to physicians
  • Maintain records and documents billing codes
Requirements
  • Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment as needed.

$76,449 - $97,592 per year
