Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in Kohler, Wisconsin. As a Float Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and cardiac procedures/studies, accurately differentiating between normal and pathologic findings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Competently operate ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and cardiac procedures/studies
  • Review patient medical records to obtain necessary clinical information
  • Position patients and select proper transducers and technical factors for accurate ultrasound procedures
  • Adjust factors to attain the appropriate images, ensuring safety and mental comfort of patients
  • Analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information, and communicate findings to physicians
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of an Advanced training beyond High School in Sonography
  • Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS) within 3 months
  • Ability to use independent judgment to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques, effective communication skills, and ability to prioritize tasks

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience.
