Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our medically fragile patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse RN. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our patients, implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, and coordinating with our team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for our patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with our team
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate with physicians, clients, family members, and staff regarding patient concerns and changes in condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
