About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. As a key member of our Water business, you will play a critical role in delivering sustainable solutions to ensure water is where it should be and available when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform civil engineering design, including engineering drawings, hydraulic system calculations, and pipe design calculations.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, and client contact and communication.
  • Attend and assist in client, contractor, stakeholder, and regulatory agency meetings to gain a better understanding of client goals and project requirements.
  • Assist in the development of design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
  • Recognize and initiate corrective actions for technical problems.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with design intent.
  • Assist with the development of job-specific discipline specifications.
  • Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals, respond to requests for information, and prepare site observation reports.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of civil systems and materials.
  • Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required or ability to achieve within 1 year.
  • 0-5 years of experience in the planning or design of water, wastewater, or related infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant discipline software programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
