Job Title: Die Repair Team Member

At Ralco Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled Die Repair Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building prototype tooling, production dies, and other production tooling/fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build prototype tooling, production dies, and other production tooling/fixtures.
  • Perform die maintenance and repair of metal stamping dies and other production tooling/fixtures.
  • Study blueprints of die and product, prototype parts, and visualize shape and mechanical structure of production part.
  • Compute dimensions, layout, and assembly operations of sensor and electrical mechanical devices to monitor dimensions.
  • Install and maintain sensors and devices within the die to monitor die positioning and dimensional conformance.
  • Set up, test, and verify conformance of sensors and monitoring devices.
  • Verify dimensions, clearances, and alignment of inspection devices and parts in die.
  • Work to part print dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and trouble shooting for production tooling and fixtures.
  • Connect wiring and gages to install electric inspection and sensoring devices.
Requirements:
  1. Journeyman Diemaker and/or min 2 years Die Repair experience.
  2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
  3. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, die makers, engineers, and production press operators.
  4. Ability to work with mathematical fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, general dimensional and tolerances as it applies to automotive design specifications.
  5. Ability to apply common sense understanding of blueprint specifications.
  6. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in design specifications.
