About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Casualty Broker to join our team at Risk Placement Services. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a network of agency and/or broker relationships, receiving and processing submissions for business, and providing agents with multiple quotes based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of agency and/or broker relationships to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Process submissions for business from network of insurance agents, obtain quotes from multiple insurance carriers, and provide agents with multiple quotes based on business requirements.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices within a technical or professional field/area to perform expert work within broadly defined limits and authority levels involving highly complex assignments.
  • Regularly demonstrate specialized technical knowledge and breadth/depth of functional expertise, providing technical leadership and guidance to staff members and management.
  • Work independently, providing specialized knowledge in the resolution of the most complex problems and business issues.
Requirements
  • Required: Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.
  • Possesses a full level of technical knowledge and skills for insurance products and/or specialty lines and comprehensive knowledge and practice of assigned lines of business.
  • Preferred: Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
  • Casualty experience.
