We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team at the Administrative Office of the Courts. As a Risk Assessment Specialist, you will play a critical role in evaluating the needs and requirements of our department in the use of risk assessment tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodology and best practices.
- Evaluate the needs and requirements of the department in the use of risk assessment tools.
- Conduct product testing of the current risk assessment tool.
- Develop and implement strategies for continued process improvement involving the tool.
- Apply risk assessment and provide results to pretrial officers and courts.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1 year of pretrial risk assessment experience, statistical analysis, and/or research experience.
- Ability to pass FBI clearance to obtain NCIC certification.
- Extensive knowledge of pretrial risk assessment methodology and research.
- Extensive knowledge of best practices in the field of pretrial services.
- Extensive knowledge of Kentucky court system.
- Extensive knowledge in criminal history investigation at a nationwide level.
Work is typically performed in detention centers and judicial center offices. May include nights, weekend, and holidays. Extensive travel will be required.
