Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Underwriter to join our team at Risk Placement Services. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing risk for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite individual insurance applications to cover property and casualty risks
  • Evaluate property value, location, usage, and safety features to determine risk
  • Develop relationships with contracted brokers and field representatives
  • Work under general supervision and may orient, train, and assign work to lower-level employees
  • Meet production goals and contribute to the growth of our business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related professional experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
