Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist Level I, you will be responsible for performing standardized imaging procedures, ensuring accurate imaging as per defined protocols or under the direction of the radiologist/physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient imaging by interacting with patients using professionalism, courtesy, and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment safely while maintaining regulatory standards during all procedures.
  • Maintain the area, supplies, and equipment in a neat, orderly, and prepared manner; perform room and equipment disinfection procedures.
  • Responsible for daily equipment calibration; report equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments and/or repair of equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Program (NMTCB)(CT).
  • Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within six (6) months of employment.
  • Must pass the CT ARRT registry within two (2) years of employment.
  • Must pass NMTCB(CT) registry within six (6) months of employment.
