About the Role

PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Radiology Technologist to join our team in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex medical imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain various types of medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Position patients correctly for optimal image quality, using your knowledge of anatomy and imaging techniques.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and imaging quality.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related modality.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in radiology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
