We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant - Student to join our team at Children's Mercy KC. As a Research Assistant - Student, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our principal investigator to support the development and implementation of research projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the principal investigator in carrying out research tasks, including data collection, sample collection, and literature reviews.
- Conduct research studies, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with other researchers and healthcare professionals to advance our understanding of pediatric health and disease.
- Develop and maintain research databases and records.
- Participate in research meetings and contribute to the development of research proposals.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of research experience, either through paid work or an unpaid internship/volunteer experience related to healthcare and/or life sciences.
- Education in a healthcare and/or life sciences field may be accepted in lieu of experience.
