About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Solaris HealthCare Charlotte Harbor. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, including heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and carpentry, to maintain the appearance and functionality of our buildings.
  3. Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or system malfunctions, to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs, and to develop solutions to improve our facilities and operations.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our facilities remain safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or vocational training in a related field preferred.
  2. At least two years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  4. Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials, and to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  5. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
