We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Aldevra, supporting the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe care environment, adhering to strict medication administration protocols, patient education, discharge processes, restraint usage, and hazardous waste disposal.">
  • Evaluate patient needs and collaborate with Registered Nurses to develop personalized care plans, meeting interdisciplinary goals.">
  • Monitor patient progress, notify RNs of significant changes, and report incidents of verbal or physical abuse.">
  • Perform routine tasks, including collecting and documenting patient data, administering medications, providing wound care, and responding to emergencies.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Hold full and unrestricted LPN licensure for the State of Louisiana.">
  • Be HIPAA trained and certified, with current Basic Life Support certification.">
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience working with electronic medical records.">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.">
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products.">
