Transforming Memory Systems with Micron Technology

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. We're seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our HBM Design team and contribute to the development of next-generation high-performance memory solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the architecture team and external customers to design and develop new product specifications
  • Drive interface logic chip and memory architecture solutions to increase bandwidth and reduce latency
  • Develop circuit designs for memory arrays, input buffers, output buffers, control logic, address decode, datapath, internal test logic, power generators, and PLL
  • Apply deep understanding of memory array architectures, high-speed interface design, logic and custom circuit design, memory subsystem operation, high-performance computing architectures, and 2.5D and 3D package integration to analyze bottlenecks and propose innovative architectures
  • Contribute to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success
  • Proactively solicit feedback from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to ensure design quality
Requirements:
  • MSEE or greater
  • 6+ years of relevant job/skill-related experience
  • Experience delivering highly technical solutions
  • In-depth technical expertise in one or more areas - DRAM memory array design, high-speed clocking and interface development, analog circuit design, digital/logic and custom circuit design, power delivery optimization, CMOS and semiconductor device physics, 2.5D and 3D packaging technologies

Micron Technology offers a competitive salary range of $153,000.00 to $280,000.00 per year, depending on location and experience.
