Midwife Care Specialist

The Certified Nurse Midwife will work in a dynamic environment providing comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive lives. This role involves collaborating with obstetricians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide antepartum care, teaching patients about their condition and supporting them through this critical period.
- Offer intrapartum care, guiding women in labor, reviewing medical records, performing physical exams, and interpreting labor data to ensure optimal birth outcomes.
- Deliver postpartum care, assessing the physical and emotional well-being of new mothers, educating them on essential health topics, and addressing concerns related to breastfeeding, postpartum physical changes, health maintenance, and family planning.
- Support newborn care, providing emergency interventions like resuscitation and intubation when necessary, and conducting thorough assessments of newborns within hospital or community settings.
- Administer well-woman healthcare, providing routine check-ups, evaluating minor gynecological issues, counseling patients on health matters, such as breast self-exam, cardiovascular risk, and overall health maintenance.
- Ability to function independently in all aspects of nurse-midwifery practice, interpreting relevant patient information based on age-specific needs.
- Comprehensive understanding of malpractice coverage across diverse clinical settings.
- Preferred candidates possess 1-2 years of experience in related fields, although enthusiastic new graduates may be considered.
- Developed analytical, computer-based, and communication skills are vital for success in this position.
- Base salary range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually.
