Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Clinician 2 to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will provide assessment and treatment services, crisis intervention, and intensive services to individuals and families with complex needs and diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and treatment planning for individuals and families, including groups, and provide crisis assessment and intervention services.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans and provide brief therapy as needed.
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with few to no financial support resources who are struggling to connect in the community.
  • Work closely with community partners, including Salem Hospital and the Marion County Jail, to address urgent/crisis situations.
  • Participate in diversion program meetings and provide case reviews of BRES clients.
  • Provide weekly mental health groups to participants of Lotus House.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA, or eligible for LCSW.
Working Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive/special needs position. Final candidates selected for this position will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for marijuana.

Regular and temporary employees are represented by MCEA.

Salary and benefits are subject to union contract negotiations and may change as a result.
