Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Woodward Resource Center (WRC). As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and document healthcare needs using innovative methods such as SOAP charting.
  • Implement preventative healthcare practices, including routine checks, immunizations, and lab orders.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver tailored nursing care and support.
  • Facilitate annual ISP meetings, monthly integrated reviews, and quarterly psychiatric treatment reviews.
  • Ensure accurate medication administration procedures and provide training to new employees.
  • Participate in code blue drills and maintain proficiency in Health Care Provider CPR.
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
