Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the State of Iowa. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
