Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterilization Equipment Specialist to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality in the cleaning and maintenance of sterilization equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sterilizer cleaning functions, including changing chemical ingredients, monitoring the cleaning process, and maintaining equipment.
  • Work closely with customers to plan efficient service routes and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilize technology to perform administrative duties, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with field and sales teams to drive customer experience and revenue opportunities.
  • Identify and address customer issues and concerns, and respond to routine customer and sales/service leadership requests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of technical or service-related work experience, with 1 year of interaction with customers.
  • Field service experience preferred.
  • Technical ability and experience required, including knowledge of preventative maintenance and ability to communicate inspection, repair, and handling to customers.
  • Minimum 1 year experience and demonstrated proficiency working with technology, including basic computer skills, smartphones, and devices.
