Job Summary

STERIS is seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Equipment Technician to join our team. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide exceptional service and support to ensure the optimal performance of our sterilization equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sterilizer cleaning and maintenance functions, including changing chemical ingredients and monitoring the cleaning process.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to plan efficient service routes and ensure effective communication.
  • Troubleshoot and consult on equipment and system issues, utilizing advanced technology to aid in troubleshooting and improve customer experience.
  • Utilize technology to perform administrative duties, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Complete service reports and maintain on-site customer service logs, ensuring compliance with STERIS procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 3 years of work experience and 1 year of technical or service-related work experience.
  • Field service experience preferred, with technical ability and experience required.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance and ability to communicate inspection, repair, and handling to customers.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience and demonstrated proficiency working with technology, including basic computer skills and smartphones.
