About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at HonorHealth. As a key member of our Perioperative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the decontamination, preparation, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using chemical agents and automated machinery
  • Assemble and prepare instrument trays and case carts for surgical procedures
  • Monitor and maintain sterilization processes to ensure proper function and validation
  • Collaborate with perioperative sterile core personnel to prioritize instrumentation needs and maintain flow within sterile storage areas
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of sterile processing experience or currently enrolled in a sterile processing training program
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
