Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Position and instruct patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media accurately, following radiologist instructions.
  • Enforce magnetic field safety protocols for patients, operators, and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and statistical data.
  • Deliver quality patient care, adhering to regulated standards and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • Completion of an AMA-approved two-year Radiology program with an AS degree in Radiology.
  • State license preferred, ARRT (MR) registration required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
