Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at ECHN. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of patients' medical and surgical conditions and care needs.
  • Develop and revise individualized plans of care as indicated by assessment and patient response to treatment.
  • Follow the five medication rights and reduce the potential for medication errors.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding pain management and other aspects of care.
  • Document the nursing process and responses to care in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or receive certification within the new employee introductory orientation period.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing using the English language.
