Residential Program Supervisor

Compensation: $22.50 per hour
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Supervisor will manage the daily functions of the residential program by guiding, instructing, and supporting Residential Trainers in delivering direct assistance to the individuals served by Chrysalis. This role involves coordinating the creation and execution of Person-Centered Plans, ensuring that the medical, financial, and recreational needs of individuals are adequately addressed. The Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate staff ratios and ensuring that training requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proven supervisory abilities, effective prioritization of tasks, and the capacity to complete all required program documentation accurately and within designated time frames are necessary. Good judgment and the ability to manage crisis situations are critical. Strong public relations skills are required for interaction with various external professionals and state representatives. A flexible schedule is needed to meet the needs of clients. The ability to understand and address personnel matters positively is also important.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience or equivalent education in supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with person-centered planning and the ability to develop and articulate effective goals.
- Knowledge of state regulations and policies.
- Strong judgment skills and the ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
- Proficient writing skills and the ability to communicate clearly on a range of topics.
- Ability to understand and manage personnel issues positively.
- Participation in management meetings.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong public relations skills for collaboration with various medical, professional, and state personnel.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of individuals.
- Ability to manage financial records and maintain accurate financial documentation.
