About the Role

Oceans Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct clinical services to patients and their families, including assessments, interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services in accordance with accepted standards of social/work clinical practice.
  • Plan and conduct group therapy as assigned by the Director of Intensive Outpatient Program or physician's order.
  • Conduct, assess, and interpret completion of Comprehensive Integrated Assessment.
  • Review all Multidisciplinary assessments and compile a Multidisciplinary Treatment Plan under the supervision of the attending physician.
  • Perform case management and discharge planning as assigned by the Director of Intensive Outpatient Program.
  • Attend multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, provide updates on assigned patients, and their progress toward treatment goals.
Requirements
  • At a minimum, a Clinical Social Worker (CSW), LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPC-A (TX Only), or Psychologist.
  • 0 to 1 year post-graduate experience in clinical practice.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related disability-related needs of the patients served on assignment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served.
  • Assess and interpret data about the patient's status in order to identify each patient's needs and provide the appropriate care.
  • Excellent communication and group/process skills as related to age-specific patient needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate assessment, intervention, treatment, and discharge planning skills.

This position can be high-paced and stressful, and the ideal candidate must be able to cope mentally and physically with the atmosphere.
