We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Ascension Providence. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial deficits
- Assess patient's ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills
- Design and implement treatment plans using appropriate modalities
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Oversee the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and technicians
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's degree preferred
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas required
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
