We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products, and participating in the quality improvement process.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the Pharmacy Department staff, ensuring effective intra- and inter-departmental communication.
- Maintain clinical programs and ensure that patient therapy is consistent with current medical practice, FDA and drug manufacturers' recommendations, and current literature.
- Participate in the quality improvement process and ensure that the department's clinical function is delivered to the highest standards.
- Ensure that the department's workload is properly allocated and that resources are utilized effectively to deliver quality patient care.
- Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
- 8 years of recent relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of Drug Utilization Review Procedures and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, coaching/mentoring, and motivating others.
- Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs, as identified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.
Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The salary range for this role is $91.30 to $146.08 per hour, and the position requires a full-time schedule with occasional weekend work.
